Mods: Better Foliage (optional)

Better Foliage is a Forge mod that will make your Minecraft worlds more impressive, mainly by improving how vegetation looks. It is fully compatible with other visual enhancement mods (Optifine, Shaders Mod, Colored Lights Core).

The mod is 100% cosmetic and client-only. It has no effect on the server, and Better Foliage features in the world can not be interacted with.

Usage & Requirements

To use the mod, just drop it into the mods folder of your installation, like any other Forge mod.

All features of the mod can be switched on/off independently, and customized to your own taste with a rich configuration GUI (opened with F8 by default). Tooltips will tell you what each option means.

Better Foliage 2.x  needs Java 8.

License & Modpacks

Source code for Better Foliage is provided under the MIT License.

Additional restrictions apply for distributing binaries:

• You may distribute Better Foliage as part of a modpack, but you may not use monetized links. (Adfly, Adfocus, etc.)
• You may not distribute the Better Foliage binary by itself. Please link to the file here on CurseForge.

Otherwise, you may freely use Better Foliage as part of a public or private modpack. If you do, I ask you to provide a link to this page (this is not mandatory).
